Hello, Lochside! Welcome to the first official newsletter on our new platform. Please allow us a bit of grace as we transition to our new flow. Meanwhile, check out our current updates/reminders below:
1) Tuesday October 8: LEPAC's October Meeting
Come join us for our next meeting, this Tuesday, October 8th from 6:30-8pm in the Learning Commons.
Child-minding is available. All Lochside parents and caregivers are welcome!
2) Volunteer Signup: Halloween Fair
Our Halloween Fair is fast approaching! ⏰
The Fair is scheduled for 5-7:30pm on Oct 17, and we are looking for volunteers to help on the day of. Please take a look at the shifts at the link below and sign up for what you can:
We also ask that you kindly do not wait until the last minute to sign up, so that we can make sure we have enough support to make this event successful for the kiddos!

3) Still Needed: Class Reps!
Thank you to everyone who signed up to be a Class Rep! Last week, all the class reps were emailed with a thank you email and a description of the duties, as well as a sample letter they can use to collect contact information from the parents.
Each teacher was also emailed and the class rep(s) were cc:d to introduce them and share the class rep's contact emails.
Right now, we have still have 6 divisions still needing a class rep:
Div 5 - Bains
Div 6 - Erickson
Div 11 - Kabel & Broughton
Div 14 - Sheridan
Div 18 - Norris
Div 20 - Walker
There are also spots available for classes with only 1 rep, if you're interested!

4) Reminder: Return Coupon Books
The Community Value Coupon Book fundraiser ended Friday, October 4.
If you still have a book, please return it this week. Thanks again!
