Hello, Lochside! Wishing you a lovely long weekend. Please check out our updates/reminders below:
1) Important/Be Alert: Parking Lot Protocol
As you know our parking lot is tight and can get very congested and full. Please take extra time and care when dropping students off and picking them up from school. Pay close attention to the Drop-Off areas and ensure that students are crossing the parking lot in a safe manner.
Please do NOT park/stall on Lochside trail and do NOT park in the dedicated STAFF parking (24/7 no parking in the STAFF stalls).
Please do not STOP right at the entrance to our parking lot. This causes cars and traffic to back up onto Royal Oak Drive.
Parents are reminded to not leave vehicles unattended in the Drive-Thru or Drop-Off lanes while picking up their child.
** We have many families at Lochside that need to access the Accessible Parking Stalls, please ONLY park here if you have a legal decal on display.
Please DO NOT block these stalls while in the drop off lanes. **
(We have had some families show up and not had the the Accessible space(s) available.)
We need to be more alert. We are a community.
Please give yourself time to walk/park and arrive safely. Thank you!
2) Oct 17th: Halloween Fair Updates
We sent a message out to our old forum the other day to request more volunteers. Here is the post. We've had a solid influx of volunteers, and we thank you!
There are a few slots left, please use the link below to sign up:
Deadline to pre-order food on the hot lunch site is tomorrow, Monday, October 14 at 7pm.
We want to make sure we have enough food for folks, so pre-orders are encouraged.

Aside from that, make sure to bring cash to the event, especially for the candy jar raffle! See you at the Fair. 🍬🍭🍫🍿

4) LAST CALL: Please Return Coupon Books This Week
The Community Value Coupon Book fundraiser ended Friday, October 4.
This is your final reminder to send in any outstanding coupon books or orders.
We have approximately 90 books unaccounted for (they are all individually coded so we know exactly who we are waiting on). We cannot award the class pizza parties and the Royals tickets until we have more books returned.
If you chose not to return or pay for the book, it will eat into our fundraising profits and it will be subtracted from your class total - which could be the difference in who wins the pizza party. 😩

Please make sure to send your kiddo(s) with lunch if you do not plan to purchase fun lunch.
If you do order, it's a good idea to send your kiddo(s) with some options to complement the fun lunch if they are picky eaters.
If your child is absent the day of the fun lunch, please be aware that they may forfeit the lunch, as it may may not keep for long or get donated.

Our next Fun Lunch is, Fri. Oct 18 with White Spot. Orders closed Oct. 10th.
